NDIS Participants

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), operated by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), provides funding for essential supports and services to help individuals with permanent or significant disabilities. The aim is to enable them to spend more time with loved ones, enhance their independence, participate in community volunteer activities, learn new skills, and generally improve their quality of life. The NDIS is accessible to anyone with a disability and provides information on the types of support offered by each state and territory. It also connects individuals to healthcare providers, local organizations, sports clubs, support groups, libraries, and schools.

Currently, over 500,000 Australians with disabilities benefit from the NDIS, receiving the necessary services and support. This includes early intervention for over 80,000 children with developmental delays to help them lead longer, more fulfilling lives. All of this support is made possible through the NDIS.
